Spicy and pungent, people usually mistaken horseradish as wasabi, it is not the same! However, similar to wasabi, horseradish has a mellow sweetness which pair perfectly well with shellfish. I prefer to grate the horseradish on the microplane into a bowl of cold sour cream, add in some lemon juice, zest and kosher salt.
